Energy is the parameter in life which is responsible for doing work. The work being done by us or a machine consumes energy to do that work. So we can say that work is being done by the energy. During this process not all energy is converted into work; some of the energy, mostly in form of heat energy, is not used to do work.
Most of the times, the energy not used for work is a waste. This energy is released in the environment in the form of heat. This heat is responsible for global warming. So can we convert all the energy into work so that this energy leakage won’t exist? Unfortunately, by the laws of thermodynamics it is impossible. There will be some energy that will not be used for doing work. So what can we do? Can we minimize the amount of energy that is not used do work? And the answer will be “YES” this time. With some dwsign changes, we can improve our process efficiency and ultimately we can minimize the amount energy that is not being used to perform work.
So here we need to work on the process. We have to check how energy is being conveyed, how energy is being converted, where exactly worknis being performed, how many conversions of energy forms being done before using it for actual work. If we address all these parameters and tune the process in best possible way, we can minimize the energy not being used for work.
