Fast Thyristor Capacitor Switching
The SYCON 61XX Thyristor Switch is designed for capacitor switching in electrical systems with dynamic loads where conventional contactor switching may not achieve the desired power factor. It uses ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching) technology for switching ON at zero voltage and switching OFF at zero current. The module provides built-in over-voltage and over-current protection and displays the status of the thyristor module in case of a problem.
